Get ready for pianoS

Remember the gates? What about those colorful and crazy cows that used to be on almost every corner? New York City loves its art projects and this next one might top them all.

Get ready for "Play Me, I'm Yours: New York City 2010."

Starting June 21st and going until July 5, Sing For Hope will distribute 60 pianos throughout all 5 boroughs in different parks and even in Times Square! Anyone who happens to pass by a piano can sit down and play. You can finally put all those piano lessons to use with a real public recital.

The exhibition is put on by artist Luke Jerram and it is simultaneously being put on in London. Once the exhibition is over, the pianos will be donated to local schools and community groups.
